Genicular nerv Genicular nerves are sensory nerves and are branches of the tibial, common peroneal and obturator nerves. They supply the capsule of the knee joint as well as the intraarticular and extraarticular ligaments.

The medial superior genicular nerve, the medial inferior genicular nerve and the middle genicular nerve are all branches of the tibial nerve. They arise within the popliteal fossa and accompany the correspondingly named arteries.

The lateral superior genicular nerve and the lateral inferior genicular nerve are branches of the common peroneal nerve and accompany their corresponding arteries. The genicular branch of the obturator nerve is a branch of the posterior division of the obturator nerve. It accompanies the popliteal artery and supplies the posterior part of the capsule of the knee joint.

Have searched in google, the result is no one consider about this nerve except this book.

世卫将甲流警戒级别升至6级 40年来首次

WHO ruft höchste Alarmstufe für Schweinegrippe aus

Fast 28.000 Menschen haben sich bisher mit dem H1N1-Virus angesteckt. Nun hat die Weltgesundheitsorganisation WHO nach Angaben der schwedischen Regierung die höchste Warnstufe ausgerufen. Damit gilt die Schweinegrippe offiziell als weltweite Seuche. Die meisten Erkrankungen verlaufen aber mild.

Genf - Die Weltgesundheitsorganisation (WHO) hat am Donnerstag die Warnstufe auf 6 angehoben. Ab sofort gilt die Schweinegrippe damit offiziell als Pandemie, erklärte die Organisation am Donnerstag.

Stufe 6 - die Pandemiephase - wird ausgerufen, wenn es zu anhaltenden Mensch-zu-Mensch-Übertragungen des Erregers kommt und diese in mindestens zwei WHO-Regionen unabhängig voneinander auftreten. Die Anhebung auf Stufe 6 bedeutet nicht, dass das Virus gefährlicher geworden ist und mehr Todesfälle auftreten. Die meisten Erkrankungen der Schweinegrippe verlaufen nach WHO-Angaben mild und sind nicht tödlich.
